REALTORS® aren’t just agents. They’re professional members of the National Association of REALTORS® and subscribe to its strict code of ethics. REALTOR® members adhere to the Code of Ethics of the National Association of REALTORS®.
The Spartanburg Association of REALTORS®, Inc. is a membership association of over 1000 REALTOR® and Affiliate members. The Association was organized in 1939, and became affiliated with the National Association and the South Carolina Association of REALTORS® in 1943.
REALTOR® Membership in the Spartanburg Association of REALTORS® automatically extends your membership to the South Carolina Association (SCR) and National Association of REALTORS® (NAR). Click below to view our member benefits brochure providing the multiple SAR, SCR, and NAR benefits available.
Designated REALTOR® Membership
An applicant applying for Designated REALTOR® membership must hold an active South Carolina real estate broker-in-charge license or be a South Carolina certified or licensed real estate appraiser and be a sole proprietor, partner, corporate officer, or branch office manager acting on behalf the firm’s principal and must meet all other qualifications for REALTOR® membership.
A Designated REALTOR® applicant is to complete our new member orientation session, the online NAR Code of Ethics training, and the online NAR Fair Housing Training (Fairhaven 2.0) within 90 days of applying for membership.
REALTOR® Membership
An applicant applying for REALTOR® membership must hold an active South Carolina real estate broker or sales license, or be a South Carolina certified or licensed real estate appraiser licensed with the same office as the broker-in-charge or principal appraiser who holds membership with the Spartanburg Association of REALTORS®
