REALTORS® aren’t just agents. They’re professional members of the National Association of REALTORS® and subscribe to its strict code of ethics. REALTOR® members adhere to the Code of Ethics of the National Association of REALTORS®.
The Spartanburg Association of REALTORS®, Inc. is a membership association of over 850 REALTOR® and Affiliate members. The Association was organized in 1939, and became affiliated with the National Association and the South Carolina Association of REALTORS® in 1943.
REALTOR® Membership in the Spartanburg Association of REALTORS® automatically extends your membership to the South Carolina Association (SCR) and National Association of REALTORS® (NAR). Click below to view our member benefits brochure providing the multiple SAR, SCR, and NAR benefits available.
Designated REALTOR® Membership
An applicant applying for Designated REALTOR® membership must hold an active South Carolina real estate broker-in-charge license or be a South Carolina certified or licensed real estate appraiser and be a sole proprietor, partner, corporate officer, or branch office manager acting on behalf the firm’s principal and must meet all other qualifications for REALTOR® membership.
REALTOR® Membership
An applicant applying for REALTOR® membership must hold an active South Carolina real estate broker or sales license, or be a South Carolina certified or licensed real estate appraiser licensed with the same office as the broker-in-charge or principal appraiser who holds membership with the Spartanburg Association of REALTORS®
Designated REALTOR® and REALTOR® applicants are required to complete a new member orientation session and complete a NAR approved Code of Ethics course every three (3) years.
