Every three (3) years, the National Association of REALTORS® (NAR) requires all REALTOR® members of a local association (with exception to those with a REALTOR® Emeritus status) complete a Code of Ethics training of not less than two (2) hours and thirty (30) minutes. The current three-year cycle is January 1, 2022 through Dec. 31, 2024.
This requirement will be satisfied upon presentation of documentation that the member has completed a course of instruction conducted by this or another REALTOR® association, the State Association of REALTORS®, or the NATIONAL ASSOCIATION OF REALTORS®, which meets the learning objectives and minimum criteria established by the NATIONAL ASSOCIATION OF REALTORS® from time to time.
The National Association of REALTORS® offers a free online Code of Ethics Training for new and existing members. Members can also register for CE Approved Code of Ethics Training for a fee.
